This page states the terms and conditions under which you use the www.addict.co.uk website. Any use of this website means you agree with them. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions then you are not authorised to use this website.

Age of Consent

In placing an order with Addict you are declaring that you are of the proper legal age to purchase the selected item or items. Should we discover that you are not legally entitled to be purchasing these goods, we will not be obliged to complete the transaction.

Contract Formation

Any order you make through the Addict website is subject to acceptance and availability, we reserve the right to refuse your order at our discretion and for any reason without explanation.

Please note that the contract of purchase will exist between you and Addict Ltd.

For the avoidance of doubt, no contract for any product purchased will exist between you and Addict Ltd until you receive an email sent by Addict confirming that the product in question has been dispatched.

Product Warranties

Addict does not provide any warranties in relation to the goods sold on this website over and above its statutory requirement to provide goods that are fit for purpose and of a satisfactory quality under the current Sale of Goods legislation.

Disclaimer & Content Warning

The Addict website may feature from time to time information and content that may be offensive. Whilst all measures are taken to ensure that the material remains within the realms of good taste, we do not accept any liability for any offence caused by any text or images within these pages.

Addict Ltd, presents the Addict website as seen, and does not guarantee that any integrated functions and materials will be without error or interruption, or that related defects will be rectified or that either the site or the server are free of viruses or bugs, neither does it represent or take responsibility for the functionality, accuracy or reliability of the materials herein.

Furthermore, Addict Ltd makes no and disclaims all warranties and representations of any kind, whether express or implied, with respect to the Addict website and any information or content contained within this site.

Use of Addict

In connection with the use the Addict website in no event and under no circumstances will Addict Ltd be liable:

For business losses and/ or losses to non-consumers.

For losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made.

For losses that were not cause by any breach on the part of the supplier.

You consent to use this website for lawful purposes only, and in manner conducted so as not to infringe the rights of, or restrict and inhibit the use and enjoyment of this website by any third party. Such restriction or inhibition includes, without limitation, any conduct which is unlawful, or which may harass, or cause distress or inconvenience to any person and the transmission of offensive or obscene content or interference with the usual flow of dialogue within this website.

Addict Ltd is not responsible for the content of any external websites that are linked to or from Addict.

Links to external websites from the Addict site does not imply any endorsement of the material on these sites by Addict or any association with their owners or operators.

Unlawful Provision

If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be excluded and shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions.

Events beyond our control

Addict has no liability to you for the failure to deliver goods or any delay or damage or defect to the goods delivered that is caused by an event or circumstances beyond our control including without limitation, acts of God, strikes, lockouts, industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, war, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire explosion, civil commotion or governmental actions and any other similar events.

Payment

Addict Ltd can only supply goods that are ordered through the www.addict.co.uk website or by telephone. All payments including all shipping, handling and packing fees must be made by either credit or debit card. Addict cannot accept any other form of payment such as cheques, postal orders or cash.

Delivery Times

Addict Ltd aims to provide a next day delivery service for all orders in the UK and within 10 working days of the dispatch date for Europe and the rest of the world. We only dispatch orders from Monday to Friday (excluding all UK bank holidays).

All UK orders for items held in stock placed before 9:00am are dispatched on the same day. We dispatch all our orders by either Recorded First Class Royal Mail or Business Post depending on weight. European and International orders are shipped via either Royal Mail International or FedEx and take between 7-10 working days. However, there may be circumstances beyond Addict’s control which cause delay and Addict cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by Royal Mail, Business Post or FedEx.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer a Saturday delivery. UK orders placed after 9am on a Thursday will be processed and dispatched on the Friday. In some circumstances Royal Mail will deliver these items on the Saturday, but this remains at the control of the postal service.

PLEASE NOTE: BUSINESS POST DO NOT DELIVER ON SATURDAYS. FOR DELIVERY ON A FRIDAY, ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BEFORE 9AM ON THE THURSDAY. ORDERS PLACED AFTER 9AM ON A THURSDAY WILL NOT BE DELIVERED BY BUSINESS POST UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MONDAY.

PLEASE NOTE: FREE DELIVERY ONLY APPLIES ON ORDERS TO THE UK CONTAINING FULL PRICE ITEMS. FREE DELIVERY IS NOT APPLICABLE TO SALE ITEMS. PACKAGING AND DELIVERY FOR SALE ITEMS WILL BE CALCULATED AT THE CHECKOUT AND MAY NOT ALWAYS BE INDICATIVE OF THE POSTAL MARK.

Prices

Prices are as stated on the website (in GBP Sterling) and are subject to change without any prior notice. All prices are inclusive of VAT.

Occasionally errors may arise where prices are incorrectly displayed or change as a result of circumstances beyond Addict's control. If this circumstance should arise, you will be informed of the correct price of the item when we receive your order and you will be given the opportunity to cancel the order should you not wish to purchase the product concerned at that price.

For overseas customers in Europe and the rest of the world the VAT will be deducted accordingly at the checkout. Any import duty, customs and local taxes incurred will be paid for by the customer in full. Addict Ltd will always mark orders for overseas true to the content and price of what is in the package, Addict Ltd will not falsify or provide misleading information in order for the customer to avoid paying any import duty, customs and local taxes.

Security

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Addict Ltd uses the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the critically sensitive details you send us over the internet including your name, address and credit card details. This encryption ensures that nobody can read the information being sent between your pc and our website.

SSL technology not only encrypts information, it also assures your browser that your data is being sent to the correct and secure computer server and it also checks the data being transferred to ensure that it has not been altered in any way. When you enter an SSL enabled area of the site you will see a padlock at the bottom of your browser. This means that the information you enter here is protected.

Availability

Although Addict Ltd strives to make sure everything displayed on the website is in stock and available to purchase, occasionally items may have sold out. If any part of an order is unavailable the customer will be notified by telephone, text or email of any alternatives and or missing items. Cards will only ever be debited for the goods that we send out. 

Addict Ltd reserves the right to conduct stock checks whenever it desires without any prior warning. When this happens the site will still be able to receive orders, but until our stock check is complete no goods will be sent out. Upon completion all orders will be processed and dispatched.

Colours

Addict Ltd does its best to accurately represent the colours in the photography. However, Addict Ltd has no control over its customers’ monitor settings (colours, resolution, etc.) so we cannot guarantee the colours will be exactly as they appear on the website. Also, some of the products have a ‘vintage’ or ‘distressed’ finish which commonly have some variety in production. We will happily refund or exchange an item within the specified period as set out in returns and exchanges section, but will not constitute the above as falling into the faulty or wrong items section.

Returns and Exchanges

You can get a full refund or exchange an item for any reason for an alternative product within 14 days of the original purchase (exceptions can be made for orders outside of the UK). Please email info@addict.co.uk your order number, your name and address, details of the product, reason for return and if you require a refund or an exchange. We will then send you instructions. Items must be returned to us as new with original packaging, tags and in a saleable condition*. Shipping charges for the return of the goods will be paid for by you, we will also charge UK customers a flat rate of £5.50 for P+P and handling (overseas orders will be subject to prices and weight) to get the goods back to you.

For refunds please allow 5 – 10 working days for the amount to appear in your bank account. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and is outside of our control. Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. If for any reason this is not possible, (i.e. the card had been declined or has expired) we will send a cheque to your billing address.

Saleable condition* - when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume / aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. Please also ensure that the environment is free of smoke and any strong odours such as food cooking etc. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. The item must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation.

Due to technical processes used, it is imperative that each individual garments’ washing instructions are followed exactly as stated on the care label. Each garment is wash-tested and quality control checked on each production batch prior to leaving the factory. We will not accept returns that have been soiled, torn or damaged due to incorrect washing.

WE REGRET WE CAN ONLY EXCHANGE SALE ITEMS IN THE 14 DAY PERIOD. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS ON SALE ITEMS.

Faulty Or Wrong Item

In the unlikely event that the item is sub standard or we have sent you the wrong product please email info@addict.co.uk your order number, your name and address, details of the product, reason for return and if you require a refund or a replacement. We will then send you instructions.

Addict will pay the shipping charges for the return of faulty or incorrect goods. These charges will be refunded to the card the order was initially placed with.

Privacy Policy

All the information you provide to Addict including your email address, delivery address and credit card details are strictly private and confidential. Addict acknowledges that it is bound by the Data Protection Act 1998 and that it will not disclose your details to any third party without your express written consent. As a matter of good practice, we do not share any personal information with anyone and we do not sell it to others.

Right to alter Terms and Conditions

The Addict website is constantly changing and these terms and conditions may change from time to time. Addict reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without notice.
