Multimedia artist/designer/typographer/illustrator/painter or m.a.d.t.i.p. as he prefers to call it, Mitch has some serious styles. Originally studying biology, he then went on to study graphic design before deciding to move from the north down to London. It was here that he started in the Swifty studios alongside Swifty, Mode 2, Robbie Bear and Fred Deakin.
His artwork is full of personality; his unique styles and prolific techniques make his work distinctive. His design work for magazines such as Straight no Chaser and “Ape man’ alongside Swifty and his work in the music industry (numerous sleeves for Blak Twang, Amp Fiddler and many others) shows his talent for font creation and for pushing the boundaries in both his design and unique typographic style.
